Waldorf Astoria

The Waldorf Astoria New York commissioned the reproduction of original Abstract Expressionist works from a private collection. I traveled to Chicago to photograph the paintings in high resolution, then orchestrated all phases of the project, including precise color matching in the production of oversized mural giclées as single-panel wallcoverings. I curated and oversaw the reproduction of additional artworks, framed with traditional frame moldings, to create a dialogue between the collection’s historical weight and the property’s refined aesthetic.
